In its 2025 Best Colleges rankings, U.S. News & World Report ranked Elmira College #8 among the Best Regional Colleges in the North. U.S. News and World Report places a lot of its emphasis on graduation and retention rates, indicating that students who attend Elmira College are likely to stay and successfully earn their degrees.
Elmira College ranked #3 in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report Best Value Colleges list. The list takes into account a school's academic quality, as indicated by its 2025 U.S. News Best Colleges ranking, and the 2023-2024 net cost of attendance for a student who received the average level of need-based financial aid. The higher the quality of the program and the lower the cost, the better the deal. Elmira College was named to Money's list of Best Colleges in America 2024.
